Types of Service Offered:
INITIAL EVALUATION
60 minute + evaluation may include: Review of past medical history, lifestyle and social supports. Completing measurements and gathering baseline data. Communication with other medical providers as appropriate. Collaboration with the client and family on developing goals and establishing a personalized plan of care based on their specific needs. Providing education , recommendations and strategies that can be implemented after the very first encounter.
TREATMENT SESSION
45 or 60 minute treatment sessions,. Treatment sessions are tailored to meet your child’s specific needs and may include but are not limited to the following: Hearing the needs of the client and family, ongoing assessment and review of home program, manual techniques, exercise and stretching programs, developmental stimulation techniques, ongoing collaboration with other providers as appropriate,biofeedback, breathing & mindfulness training, ongoing education
Note: Discounted treatment plans may also be available through visit packages, depending on your child’s individual needs and plan of care.
CONSULTATION
30 to 45 minute consultation. Are you unsure whether your child requires formal PT but you have gross motor concerns or questions regarding your child? A consult may be the answer for you. A consultation often includes education, recommendations and general home programs based on your child’s needs. Common consultations:
Questions about head shape/positioning
Gross Motor milestones check
Tummy time consult
Education on bed-wetting
Note: If it is determined that your child would benefit from a full evaluation after consultation and you are interested in an evaluation, consult fee may be applied to evaluation fee if completed within required time-frame.
