ABOUT Mindful Milestones PT
Caring Starts the Moment we Connect
At Mindful Milestones Physical Therapy, we believe every child develops at their own pace and that every milestone, whether big or small, deserves to be celebrated. Our approach is individualized, compassionate, and rooted in the understanding that the mind and body are deeply connected. We take the time to listen, understand each child and family’s unique needs, and create a plan that feels supportive, meaningful, and achievable.
From infants working toward their earliest developmental milestones, to children navigating physical challenges, to adolescents experiencing the intersection of physical and emotional well-being, our goal is to create a space where every individual feels safe, seen, heard, and supported.
We value collaboration and believe our clients and families are an essential part of the therapeutic process. We work alongside our clients and caregivers to provide education, practical tools, and encouragement so that progress can continue beyond the therapy session and into everyday life.
At Mindful Milestones, we celebrate progress in all its forms. Sometimes a milestone is a first step, a new skill, greater independence, or simply finding confidence in one’s own body. Our philosophy is simple: meet each person where they are, honor the journey, and help them move forward with confidence, connection, and hope.
Dr. Lauren Varnell is the founder and owner of
Mindful Milestones PT.
My passion is helping children and families during times when they need support the most. I believe every child deserves to feel heard, understood, cared for, and most importantly hopeful. My goal is to create a space where children feel comfortable and families feel empowered, supported, and confident in their child’s journey.
